Ineris Formation supports the development of Ism-ATEX certification in Spain 20 mai 2025 After 8 days' training on full-scale industrial teaching facilities in Martigues, 4 new Spanish trainers were certified last April by Ineris Formation. The Ism-ATEX Electrical and Mechanical certificate issued by Ineris will enable them to run ATEX training courses for level 1 personnel (electricians, instrument technicians, mechanics, etc.) and level 2 personnel (site managers, project managers, etc.).Ism-ATEX certification (Installation, Service and Maintenance of electrical installations in ATEX) is a voluntary certification offered by Ineris to guarantee the competence of the various parties involved in the design, construction and/or maintenance of electrical installations in explosive atmospheres. The operator of an industrial site where explosive atmospheres (ATEX) may occur is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of his ATEX equipment, and in particular his electrical installations. Ism-ATEX certification enables them to call on external companies and duly qualified personnel to carry out the tasks concerned.
