Industrial safety

When new products and/or processes are implemented within an industrial facility, the operator must conduct a safety study to ensure the integrity of the facility itself, the safety of people within the facility, of nearby residents and the surrounding natural environment.

European and French regulations require all operators of classified industrial facilities for regulated environmental protection to identify, analyse and evaluate the accidental risks involved in all components of their facility.

Ineris' approach evaluates the accidental risks of industrial activities by integrating technical, organizational and human factors. It provides risk assessors with tools and methodologies to carry out these  safety studies and to be able to control their quality.

The Institute’s integrated vision of global safety issues, based on a solid knowledge of regulations, makes it the expert of reference to provide decision-makers with the most relevant information needed to evaluate risk on an industrial and territorial scale.
