Ineris uses its recognized expertise to evaluate the performance of technical and human safety barriers and support industrial operators in their risk reduction processes. This expertise relies on studies and research conducted on industrial safety, multidisciplinary technical skills combined with knowledge of human and organizational factors and accessing reliable means of experimentation such as its “Sensor Laboratory.” Using these resources, Ineris can test, determine and characterize the performance of safety fire and gas sensors, safety instrumentation systemsand explosion protection systems (explosimeters).
