Here we take a closer look at Ineris’ expertise in safety, which was of particular relevance to this project. Discover Support for the Egyptian Environmental Agency (EEAA) on air quality 14th March 2024 Ineris recently visited Egypt to consolidate the support provided in 2019 to the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) to better understand the sources of air pollution in Cairo, based on the analysis of the chemical composition of particulate matter. Discover Post-mining ecological rehabilitation, Ineris is partner of the REECOL project 14th December 2023 Ineris is partner of the European RFCS project: Ecological rehabilitation and long-term monitoring of post mining areas Discover Post-mining management in Europe: the Institute is a member of the new REMINDNET European network 16th November 2023 Ineris is a member of the new REMINDNET (Recovery of Mining District Network) European network for post-mining management in Europe. It brings together experts and researchers in the different post-mining fields (geologists, economists, engineers, environmental and social science specialists, metallurgists, legal representatives, etc.) in order to consolidate and promote exchanges of knowledge. Discover Mine Closure 2023 10th October 2023 The institute attended the Mine Closure 2023 conference, which was held from 3–6 October in Reno, Nevada (USA). This international event gathered experts, researchers and industrialists to deliberate on technical, regulatory and organisational advancements in connection with post-mining management in different mining basins around the world, in a context of sustainable mining operations concerned with their societal, economic and environmental impacts. Discover Wood-fired heating: inter-laboratory comparisons to evaluate a method for measuring particle emissions, specifically developed to sample condensable compounds 22nd September 2023 Ineris is hosting European inter-laboratory comparisons (ILC) on its emission test bench from 18 to 22 September. Discover Monitoring of atmospheric emissions: the Institute speaks at the CEM conference 14th September 2023 Ineris will participate in the fifteenth international CEM conference (Conference on Emissions Monitoring), which will be held in Barcelona from 20 to 22 September. Discover Sampling operations and measurements of physical and chemical parameters in situ – Collaborative test on a body of water 13th September 2023 As part of its collaboration with the French Biodiversity Office and with the support of the Water Agencies (Agences d’Eau – AE), the national reference laboratory for monitoring aquatic environments, AQUAREF, is organising a collaborative trial on Lake Saint Etienne de Cantalès (Cantal) on 12 and 13 September 2023. Discover IMT Nord-Europe, Ineris and LNE strengthen their partnership in the field of air quality monitoring within the scientific interest group LCSQA 11th September 2023 IMT Nord-Europe, Ineris and LNE strengthen their partnership in the field of air quality monitoring within the scientific interest group LCSQA. Discover Seminar for users and developers of the CHIMERE air quality model 23rd June 2023 On 22 and 23 June, the Institute will be taking part in the symposium on the CHIMERE chemistry-transport model, which it is developing in partnership with the CNRS.
