Ineris is a partner of the European IMAGHyNE (Investments to Maximise the Ambition for Green Hydrogen iN Europe) project, which officially launched on 12 February 2024. Here we take a closer look at Ineris’ expertise in safety, which was of particular relevance to this project.

Ineris recently visited Egypt to consolidate the support provided in 2019 to the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) to better understand the sources of air pollution in Cairo, based on the analysis of the chemical composition of particulate matter.

Ineris is partner of the European RFCS project: Ecological rehabilitation and long-term monitoring of post mining areas

Ineris is a member of the new REMINDNET (Recovery of Mining District Network) European network for post-mining management in Europe. It brings together experts and researchers in the different post-mining fields (geologists, economists, engineers, environmental and social science specialists, metallurgists, legal representatives, etc.) in order to consolidate and promote exchanges of knowledge.

The institute attended the Mine Closure 2023 conference, which was held from 3–6 October in Reno, Nevada (USA).
This international event gathered experts, researchers and industrialists to deliberate on technical, regulatory and organisational advancements in connection with post-mining management in different mining basins around the world, in a context of sustainable mining operations concerned with their societal, economic and environmental impacts.

Ineris is hosting European inter-laboratory comparisons (ILC) on its emission test bench from 18 to 22 September.

Ineris will participate in the fifteenth international CEM conference (Conference on Emissions Monitoring), which will be held in Barcelona from 20 to 22 September.

As part of its collaboration with the French Biodiversity Office and with the support of the Water Agencies (Agences d’Eau – AE), the national reference laboratory for monitoring aquatic environments, AQUAREF, is organising a collaborative trial on Lake Saint Etienne de Cantalès (Cantal) on 12 and 13 September 2023.

IMT Nord-Europe, Ineris and LNE strengthen their partnership in the field of air quality monitoring within the scientific interest group LCSQA.

On 22 and 23 June, the Institute will be taking part in the symposium on the CHIMERE chemistry-transport model, which it is developing in partnership with the CNRS.
