Eight European partners from five countries (Poland, Spain, Germany, France, the United Kingdom) have been taking part in this project, which ended last December. Discover Launch of the CITYAir project 18th April 2019 The Institute participated in the launch of CITYAir on 9 April this year in Ankara, Turkey, in the presence of senior officials from the Turkish Ministry of the Environment, the European Commission and the ambassadors of the countries involved in the consortium. The purpose of this European Commission-funded project is to improve air quality in Turkey, in particular by transferring and applying the knowledge acquired by the European Union in matters of ambient air quality.
