Ineris is participating in a study, with the French Geological Survey (BRGM) and Cerema, to improve knowledge of the risk of land movement, or the “large-scale crumbling”, of the cliff beneath the Bonifacio citadel.

Ineris and Cerema, with the support of the Ministry for Ecological and Inclusive Transition and Seine and Marne General Council, are preparing an observation and instrumental surveillance project for the old chalk quarry in Château-Landon (Seine et Marne).

The objective of this European project is to provide information to consumers about the chemicals present in items. Anses, Ineris and the network of Approved Associations for Air Quality Monitoring (AASQA) federated by ATMO France are launching a campaign today to measure pesticide residues in the air. This first national campaign aims to improve knowledge about pesticides found in the ambient air and, thus, better understand the population's exposure on the national territory. The Institute visited Seville this week, for the final meeting of the “Textile BREF”, at the European Office for the Prevention and Reduction of Pollution which is responsible for the preparation and revision of BREFs, in accordance with the IED Directive.

Ineris attended the inauguration of the demonstrator GRHYD, alongside 10 other partners. The institute has been working on risks relating to hydrogen since the early 2000s and has used its knowledge to support the first phase of the project. Thus, the Institute is guaranteed the safety component of the project relating to production, storage, post-injection (or post-mixing).
