    Multi-parameter monitoring of the old saltworks in Urcuit (Bayonne)

    As part of the permanent end to salt mining activity in the underground cavities in Urcuit, Ineris is assisting the company Saline Cérébos in the technical and administrative aspects of the procedure. An in-depth analysis of the site and field investigations have resulted in the establishment of monitoring methods designed to reduce the risks associated with closure.

    Better information about the chemicals present in everyday items (toys, shoes, clothes, electronic devices, furniture, etc.) concerns everyone, and lies at the heart of LIFE AskREACH. The objective of this European project is to provide information to consumers about the chemicals present in items. To achieve this, the intention is to release a smartphone application to which everyone can contribute by replying to two online surveys.

    Launch of the national exploratory campaign to measure pesticide residues in the air

    Anses, Ineris and the network of Approved Associations for Air Quality Monitoring (AASQA) federated by ATMO France are launching a campaign today to measure pesticide residues in the air. This first national campaign aims to improve knowledge about pesticides found in the ambient air and, thus, better understand the population's exposure on the national territory. This campaign will eventually allow a strategy for monitoring pesticides in the air to be developed.

    Ineris attended the inauguration of the demonstrator GRHYD, alongside 10 other partners. The institute has been working on risks relating to hydrogen since the early 2000s and has used its knowledge to support the first phase of the project. Thus, the Institute is guaranteed the safety component of the project relating to production, storage, post-injection (or post-mixing).
