Air Quality in Europe in 2023

The reference report from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) is now available

The European Copernicus program, through its Atmospheric Monitoring Service (CAMS), regularly publishes reports on air quality in Europe. The reference report for the year 2023 has just been released by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts. INERIS, which coordinates the service dedicated to supporting public policy*, served as the lead author.

Learn about the work of INERIS’s Structural Resistance Unit, located in Bourges at INSA Centre Val de Loire. Using unique experimental facilities, numerical modeling tools, artificial intelligence, and their field expertise, the Institute’s engineers analyze how buildings and equipment behave under extreme conditions. Their goal: to secure infrastructure, limit the consequences of accidents, and support industry and public authorities in managing technological risks.
