The subsidiary of the Institute, Ineris training, recognized by the IECEx 21st June 2019 IECEx is one of the international certification systems set up by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) with the aim of facilitating international trade of equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres (ATEX). IECEx has set up a certification regarding the competence of persons involved with explosive atmospheres (IECEx 05 – CoPC) and a recognition process for training organizations preparing candidates for this certification. To date, some thirty training organizations worldwide have received this recognition, and recently, INERIS training as well.
