Microplastics in soils and groundwater: symposium of the MISSOURI project

On 14 and 15 October, a symposium on the results of the MISSOURI* project and of the independent research was jointly organised by Ineris, the Institut scientifique de service public (ISSEP, Belgium) and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU, Amsterdam Free University, Netherlands).

The project looked at microplastics in soils and groundwater, the methods of measurement and characterisation, and the effects on human health and the environment.
The event took place online, it was free to join and open to all. The results of the project and those of the independent studies were presented there.
