The Institute has been asked to present the state of knowledge on the link between industrial activity and seismicity, in particular as far as the phenomena at stake and the solutions for managing the hazard and the risk are concerned. The particular purpose of the meeting was to reproduce a major synthesis work carried out in 2017 as part of the support service offered by Ineris to the public authorities.
An overview of this issue together with examples of the applications that Ineris is working on, was presented.
