The results presented are centred around the fundamental aspects of our activities: managing the risks of the energy transition and circular economy, understanding and managing risks at the industrial site or area-wide level, and characterising the dangers posed by substances and products and their impacts on human health and biodiversity via air, water and soil.
The articles presented (extracted from publications) demonstrate that the work carried out by the Institute’s teams cuts to the core of the challenges we face now and in the future in the field of risk management: securing energy storage, management of risks pertaining to hydrogen, air quality, industrial site safety, exosomes, understanding the behaviour and phenomena of instability in ground surfaces and subterranean cavities, etc.
