Within the French delegation, the institute attended the general meeting of Technical Committee 265 of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), held in Casper, Wyoming (United States).

Ineris has notably contributed to the work done on the monitoring of storage sites, and risk management.
The purpose of Technical Committee 265, which was created in 2011, is to draft the standards and international technical documents regarding the capture, transport, and geological storage of CO2 with the aim of reducing anthropogenic atmospheric emissions and combating climate change. 8 standard documents have been published to date
