Doing Your Dissertation at Ineris As part of its mission, Ineris conducts research in a range of technical fields that cover health, technological and ground movement risks. It hosts about 40 PhD candidates. PhD candidates are based in the Institute’s research laboratories in Verneuil-en-Halatte (60), Nancy (in partnership with the Ecole des Mines (Mining School) and the University of Lorraine), Aix-en-Provence (in partnership with CEREGE), Bourges (in partnership with the Centre-Val de Loire National Institute of Applied Sciences [INSA]), or in other university laboratories in France or abroad that have established scientific partnerships with Ineris.
